I don't know what the problem is or even what it is called however I believe that Windows 10 is the culprit, if anyone knows how I could get back to Windows 7 Pro as I had before I would be very grateful. I tried F8 to get into safe mode but the laptop just beeped and then turned of immediately when I pressed the power button.

That was last Wednesday and since then I have been away, I have just tried again and to my suprise I got into Windows past the password login etc however while my homescreen was still booting up the screen just displayed loads of coloured lines again and on restarting it (through holding down the power button) nothing came up on the screen. I thought everything was fine however after coming back to my laptop after lunch the screen had gone blank again and no success in getting it back. Eventually i managed to restart in Safe Mode and everything seemed fine, so I went back into normal mode, I immediatley checked all drivers were upto date and saved my important information. Hp probook 6465b drivers for windows 7 32-bit equipped for business and ready for the road, the probook 6465b notebook from hewlett-packard is a durable system that allows. I then pressed the off button until the computer powered down then when I turned it on again the screen was just blank, the screen was on but nothing was showing, i normally use a second monitor and this also shows nothing even when using the f4 key to switch.Īfter reading on the internet I tried the HP hard reset after this, Windows 10 loaded into recovery mode then restarted, went back into recovery mode then the screen went blank again. The site includes an easy step-by-step process for finding and downloading laptop drivers for windows xp, windows 7, 8 and windows 10. I went to turn it back on again and the HP logo and then Windows 10 logo popped up and I managed to get it in, then suddenly the screen just went to lines of colour and I couldn't make out anything. Then I was using Chrome with admittedly quite a few tabs open, Outlook 2013 open, probably word and Spotify as well and the laptop suddenly just turned off, I was in Chrome when it turned off. I recently installed Windows 10 onto my HP ProBook 6550b (i5, ATI Mobility Radeon, 8gb ram) and all was fine for a week or so, all programs seemed to run smoothly and Windows 10 ran well.
